MobileMe Control Panel is required to manage iDisk settings and for syncing of contacts, calendars, and bookmarks on a Windows PC.MobileMe is the online service from Apple that automatically syncs your email, contacts, and calendars over the air across all your devices.It also helps you find your lost iPhone or iPad.

MobileMe Control Panel is a free software we can download directly from the developer's website. We can use this utility to synchronise our data (calendar, contact, bookmarks, etc) from our PC to various devices such as iPhone, iPod touch, a more applications located at www.me.com. It is supported on Windows XP Home or Professional SP2, Windows Vista SP1(or later) OPs. In order to work with this utility we must have installed or download for free iTunes 8.0.1. And we also need to create a MobileMe account.

What's new in version 1.6

This update fixes issues and improves reliability for the new MobileMe Calendar in Outlook.

An update to the Windows MobileMe Control Panel for Windows users that subscribe to MobileMe to sync their calendars and contacts with their iPhone has reportedly repaired issues with syncing. The update is especially recommended for Windows users on corporate networks that use proxy servers. This update is available at the MobileMe website or as part of the iTunes 8.2 update. Apple describes the supported proxy types in a Knowledge Base Article: "Supported proxy server types include: Web proxy servers (HTTP) Secure Web proxy (HTTPS) SOCKS proxy servers HTTP/HTTPS proxy servers that require authentication Proxy bypass lists Proxy auto-configuration (PAC) files"...
